Stelvio FreeRide Light
Size Chart Go

The high performance version of the Stelvio FreeRide. An all carbon fiber weave wrapped around Trab's patented aramid honeycomb I-beam core produces a lively ride with excellent torsional rigidity. The ski mountaineering sidecut combined with 52 HRC steel edges produces phenomenol edge hold. Trab's oversized tips float better and reduce tip dive. The skimo side-cut also allows for highly adaptive turns, proving equally adept at carving both short and long radius arcs. The lightest deep powder ski available, the Stelvio Freeride Light will take you farther for more face shots on those really deep days!

Off-Piste Magazine Touring Pick 2008

"It excelled in soft backcountry snow. When you tour all day, shedding a couple pounds underfoot makes a big difference, and the Stelvio Light is a welcome addition to Ski Trab's freeride line. Take the predictable all snow abilities of the Stelvio FreeRide and drop close to a pound and a half per pair and you get the Stelvio FreeRide Light. Still quite versatile, the light is a stick for all mountain skiing. It pairs well with lighter boots and maintains a predictable personality through all snows." - Offpiste

"I really liked these skis. They can handle a variety of terrain and disciplines, yet very much trend toward long tours, big vertical, speedy ascents, ridge traverses or multiple peaks where wieght is a big factor. But there's the kicker. With their stiffness, torsional stability and snap - combined with a moderate 84 underfoot - these boards can drop vert almost as well as they climb it. Because of their light wieght, they climb with ease and boost the ego. I felt a whole lot fitter than I actually am. I skied everything from creamy pow, to crud, to windslab. I really can't imagine a better ski for skiing multiple spring-corn peaks or doing a long high ridge traverse with difficult descents along the way." - Mountain Gazzette
