Stelvio FreeRide
Size Chart Go

Equally at home in-bounds or out, the Stelvio FreeRide provides a perfect one ski quiver for skiers looking to mix some touring in with their lift served turns. Carbon reinforced glass wrapped around a multi-layer, variable-channel poplar and fir core keeps weight down while maintaining stellar performance and durability. The oversized tip provides excellent float, making trail breaking easier by planing above the snow surface and virtually eliminating tip dive in powder. A ski mountaineering side-cut combined with elastomer lined carbon steel edges provides a smooth and precise ride with responsive handling, inspiring confidence on steep hard pack. The high molecular density sintered base improves glide and durability while a stained ash top sheet maintains a nostalgic feel. The Stelvio FreeRide, large and rugged like the mountain it is named after.

"Carbon Fiber skis are supposed to be light and weak. Not These. The Stelvio FreeRide especially surprised skiers with it's ability to tackle crud. They made fluid, large radius turns with ease." - Skiing 2009

"Great for multiple laps up and down in soft snow. Held a hard edge with confidence." - Backcountry 2009

"A solid, all conditions-ski that handles varied backcountry snow ease." Offpiste 2009

"The relatively modest dimensions ski bigger than they look on paper. This ski kept a wide variety of testers happy. The Stelvios stand out in the mid 80's waist category as solid versatile skis. The medium radius bias and moderate side-cut create a balanced all mountain board." - Offpiste 2008

"The Stelvio has great edge hold on hardpack and hugs the snow in turns. Light and natural, a great hard-snow ski for your one ski quiver. A superlight climber that'll go downhill well" - Skiing 2008.

"the Stelvio is an excellent ski and handles a wide variety of ski conditions with ease. I have been using them for a full season and am impressed with their versatility and fun factor." Offpiste 2008
